Jonathan Horowitz is a former practicing attorney and has lived in Houston for more than 30 years. He is the Founder and CEO of Convive Hospitality Consulting and currently is the Chief Revenue and Strategy Officer for Buffalo Bayou Brewing Company in Houston.

Following a 6-year career as a practicing attorney, Mr. Horowitz entered the hospitality industry in 2005 as a partner in a then newly opened wine bar and restaurant company. For 10 years, Mr. Horowitz held several leadership positions there and had numerous responsibilities, including operations, public relations, marketing, advertising, real estate, construction, and the development of new locations. During that time, he helped grow the company from 10 employees in two Houston locations to 600+ employees in 16 units across multiple cities and states. From late 2015 through early 2020, Mr. Horowitz served as the CEO of Legacy Restaurants, which owns and operates multiple concepts including The Original Ninfa's, Antone's Famous Po' Boys, and Mama Ninfa's Tacos y Tortas. In early 2020, he launched Convive Hospitality Consulting and has assisted numerous clients with all phases of concept development and growth. In December 2022, he assumed the role of Chief Revenue and Strategy Officer for Buffalo Bayou Brewing Company.

Additionally, Mr. Horowitz has been active in the restaurant community since joining the industry, serving on the board of the Greater Houston Restaurant Association for more than a decade, and as its board president from 2016-2018. In 2023, he assumed the role of Chair of the board for the Texas Restaurant Association after having participated on the statewide board’s Executive Committee for many years. Mr. Horowitz graduated from Rice University in 1995 and received his JD from South Texas College of Law in 1998.
