David Tripoli has over 40 years of experience succeeding in the restaurant industry as a manager, operations director, Chief Operating Officer, and advisor. David started managing with TGI Fridays when they were known as the "college of the food and beverage industry'' training managers to successfully operate high-volume, highly profitable restaurants utilizing systems, procedures and cost controls that are still the standard today. He then became a Managing Partner with Entertainment One, operators of night club concepts with 55 units located in 23 states and 3 countries on three continents.

In 1992, Truluck's Restaurant Group was founded. David and team expanded the company to 13 locations in 4 states and the District of the Columbia. During his tenure he held many positions including Chief Operating Officer.

The hospitality industry is first and foremost a people business! David believes in a "People First Culture" and is known for his commitment to the continuous development of restaurant leadership and their staff members. He enjoys supporting the Texas Restaurant Association and his involvement with the TRA pro-start management competition. David is savvy in all aspects of restaurant operations making The Restaurant Clinic uniquely qualified to assist independent restaurant owner-operators with concept development, improved operating performance, employee and leadership training, menu development, brand management, growth planning and exit strategies.
