TRA Political Action Committee

The TRA Political Action Committee (TRA PAC) pools our industry’s personal funds together to make a bigger impact in state elections. A group of industry leaders serve as PAC trustees, volunteering their time to diligently stay informed on the issues that affect your bottom line. TRA PAC trustees screen candidates and support those who will advance the pro-business, pro-growth policies we need to expand the sector in Texas. The TRA PAC is non-partisan and focuses solely on state-level elections that can significantly impact your business.

Only non-corporate funds can be donated to the TRA PAC in accordance with state ethics laws. Most people base their decision to contribute on the size of their establishment and the benefits that they have secured thanks to the TRA’s advocacy. If your business has benefited from policies like alcohol to-go, PPP tax deductibility, and bulk food sales—just to name a few examples—please consider creating a recurring contribution to the TRA PAC. There is strength in numbers, and we must ensure we have elected officials in office who understand the value of our industry. Get involved and support the TRA PAC today!

Recurring contributions with automatic monthly, quarterly, and annual payment plans are available, as well as one-time contributions. We have established the following membership levels to recognize our generous supporters. Because both funds are integral to our advocacy success, membership levels are determined by combining TRA PAC and TRAction Fund contributions for the year.

Membership Levels Levels of Support (per year)
