The Texas Restaurant Association is excited to announce the launch of a brand new member benefit called the TRA Law Center.
The TRA Law Center is the latest program designed to help protect and educate TRA restaurant members about key areas of the law. So often, restaurateurs are on their own as they try to navigate the complexities of employment law, immigration law, legal contracts, and more. You’re here to run a restaurant, not practice law. With this program, TRA Members are eligible to call upon the TRA Law Center and receive a free, 15 minutes consultation with a lawyer to address their concerns.
TRA has partnered with a firm to launch the Law Center, with more on the way as the program evolves:
Monty & Ramirez, a longtime Allied Member and trusted resource of TRA, will specialize in Immigration Law. Led by renowned attorney Jacob Monty, they specialize in protecting your restaurant from the ever-changing and onerous legislation regarding your employees' citizenship status. Some of the resources they already share with members include an I-9 compliance guide, an immigrant myth debunking article, and many more.
